Les Tuiles is a newly renovated 1 bed duplex apartment in the centre of Beziers in South France. Beziers is one of the oldest towns in France and a great location for a long term rental. The Mediterranean beaches are just 10km away and Beziers has excellent transport connections, with a local airport, TGV train station and is located at the intersection of 2 motroways.
The apartment comes with a large roof terrace with panoramic views over the city. The apartment is equipped with air conditioning, a washing machine, newly installed kitchen and an en-suite Master bedroom suite. The apartment is located in the popular Cathedral quarter, just a short walk from Les Halles, a covered market hall which has been transformed into a buzzing destination for foodies.
The apartment is available for long term rentals for up to 12 months from €800 per month + bills.

This duplex apartment is located on the second floor of an 18th Century town house in the historic Cathedral district in the centre of Beziers. The apartment is laid out over 3 floors.
Second floor
You arrive into the open plan living room.
- The kitchen is newly installed and features a large fridge-freezer, oven, hob and breakfast bar. There is plenty of storage and the apartment comes equipped with cooking utensils and a set of plates, glasses and cutlery.
- A washing machine is located in a small cupboard next to the kitchen.
- There is a dining table with seating for 4 people.
- The lounge comes with a sofa, coffee table, Flat screen TV and an air conditioning unit (reversible for heating).
Third floor
- The bedroom comes with an en-suite bathroom, work station and a large storage/dressing. There is a walk-in shower wash basin and a separate WC. There is a Queen-size bed (160cm x 200cm)
Top floor
- A narrow circular staircase takes you up to the roof terrace. The terrace provides panoramic views over the city. There is a set of patio furniture (sofa, 2 armchairs and a table). There is also a small covered storage space.

The apartment is available for rentals of up to 12 months. The prices quoted are based on a 12 month rental period (higher prices may apply to shorter rental periods, especially over the summer period). In addition to the rent, there is a monthly provision of €170 towards the electricity, water and Wi-Fi.

Last visited: March 2025. Beziers is fast becoming the No 1 destination for long term stays on the Mediterranean coast in the South of France. This ancient town has recently undergone major investment, sprucing up the buildings and creating new destinations for shopping, entertainment, food and drinks. With prices far cheaper than Cote d'Azur and superior transport connections, Beziers also benefits from a relaxed pace of life and stunning architecture. You can literally feel the history of the place as you walk the medieval streets.
This apartment has been renovated to a good standard. Due to the narrow circular stairs and its location on the second floor, the apartment is best suited to the physically fit. The roof terrace is a real bonus, as is the air conditioning.

Area activities
There is so much to do in Beziers, from strolling along the beautiful alleyways of the Old Town and shopping in the small shops or visiting one of the many restaurants, go to the theater or visit Friday´s flower market or Saturday´s antique market. During the summer, the city is buzzing with activities with various festivals and music events.
The Mediterranean coast is a short drive or bus journey away and offers fantastic beaches, ranging from wild beaches in Serignan and Vendres to chic promenades in Grau d´Agde and Valras plage.
Beziers, is the capital of the World´s largest wine regions and most of the local wineries are open to visitors and you can try their wines. A tour of the region´s villages is also recommended.
Pezenas which is a fantastic little town with a rich cultural life inspired by Moliere, has a large market every Saturday and a food & wine festival every Friday night during July and August. Pezenas has over 60 antique shops and over 30 restaurants.
Agde is one of France´s oldest cities and lies at the river Herault´s outflow. The town has some nice restaurants and beautiful beaches. Cap Agde has the Mediterranean´s largest marina and there is plenty of activities from water sports to amusement parks and an excellent golf course.
Other transport
There is a fast TGV train from Paris direct to Beziers, that takes about 4 hours.
Airports
Beziers airport is very easy to get to, direct flights with Ryanair from Bristol, Edinburgh, London Luton, Stansted, Manchester and Stockholm (Skavsta).
Montpellier Airport is 35 kilometers away and has several routes to Sweden and Copenhagen with Norwegian Air and to the UK with Easyjet (Bristol, Gatwick and Luton).
Driving directions
Beziers is well connected to the local motorway network, with both the A75 and A9 motorways joining just west of the town.
