This stunning renovated barn comes with a courtyard garden, parking, fully fitted-kitchen and loft-style Master bedroom.

This property is located on a quiet street on the edge of the village. It was a former barn which housed horses and cattle. The Owner has spent the last 6 years converting the barn into a spacious rental property. There is a parking space in front of the property. You enter the property into the hallway which leads to the living area and also provides access to the kitchen.
- The kitchen is fully-fitted and will be installed with an electric oven, hob, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, kettle, toaster and a range of cooking utensils.
- The large living room features a double height ceiling and large patio windows which let light flood into the property. Although the property comes with 2 large sofas, coffee table, TV and a dining table, there is also plenty of space to install additional furniture and create a home office.
- A set of stairs provides access up to the Master bedroom on the mezzanine floor. There is a standard size double bed and two cupboards with shelves for storage. There is space for installing Wardrobes and hanging frames if required.
- Just off the living room, there is a bathroom with walk-in shower and wash basin. Next to the bathroom there is a separate toilet and also a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
Outside: a set of patio doors provide access to a lovely quiet courtyard garden, with flag-stone floor and bamboo plants. In the centre of the courtyard there is the former stone drinking font which was used to provide drinking water for the cattle and horses.

Last visited: October 2023. This is a comfortable pet friendly rentals property in a charming wine-making village close to Montpellier. The property benefits from parking and a nice courtyard garden. The property also benefits from plenty of space for storing boxes and items of furniture, so would suit house hunters. The house provides easy access to the dual carriageway which takes you to Montpellier in 15 mins. Equally, you can be out walking in the vineyards and hills in 2 mins. The village is very sociable and comes with a good range of local services.

Montpeyroux is a thriving small village with a good wine making reputation. The vineyards still provide the central economic activity for the village. It has a primary school (secondary schools a short drive away), sports facilities shops and bars/restaurants.
In the beautiful central square of the village you will find the historic covered market with clock tower. Surrounding the market there are 2 restaurants, 2 bars, a small epicerie (local supermarket) and a newsagent. There is a further restaurant in the village, as well as a popular butcher´s and bakery.
Montpellier is easily accessible by public transport, or 15-20 minutes by car. The surrounding countryside is perfect for walking and cycling, there are rivers and lakes nearby. The Mediterranean beaches are a 35 minute drive away.
