The apartment is located on the first floor and fully equipped for winter rentals.
In the local village of Villes-sur-Auzon, there is a good range of cafes, shops and restaurants. The nearby town of Carpentras and the city of Avignon, offer a greater range of supermarkets and services. The apartment is ideally situated for exploring the sites of Provence, with beautiful villages such as Gordes, Roussillon, L'Isle-sur-Sorgue and Ménerbes all within striking distance.

The apartment is on the first floor and laid out on one level. There is 45m2 of living space, plus a small balcony at the front of the apartmen. The apartment has a high ceilings with exposed beams and has lovely views over Mont Ventoux. There is a good Wi-Fi connection (around 100mbps) and the apartment is heated through efficient electric radiators connected to solar panels.
- The open-plan living room includes a comfortable lounge area with large sofa, armchair, coffee table and flat screen TV. The large front windows make this a very light and bright space.
- The kitchen is fully-equipped with an oven, gas hob, washing machine, microwave, espresso machine, kettle and plenty of storage space. The apartment has a full set of plates, cutlery and cooking utensils.
- The bedroom comes with a standard-sized double bed, bedside cabinets and a wardrobe.
- The bathroom has a shower, WC and wash basin.
Outside:
- In front of the apartment, there is a lovely sunny terrace with a small table and chairs. This is the perfect place for a morning coffee.

This comfortable apartment in the village of Villes-sur-Auzon, provides cost-effective accommodation in Provence for a couple or single traveller. The apartment is equipped with everything you need and the local village offers a good range of facilities. For cycling enthusiasts, you couldn't be closer to Mont Ventoux and there is a range of excellent cycling routes nearby. There is a regular bus service from Villes-sur-Auzon to Carpentras (and trains from Charpentras to Avignon), so it is perfectly possible to live in this location without a car (although one would be preferable for exploring the local region).
One month deposit to be paid at time of reservation. Rent to be paid in advance (or on the first day of each month for rentals of 3 months or more). In addition to the the rent, there is a monthly provision of €125 towards the electricity, water and Wi-Fi. Minimum stay is normally 3 months. Pets maybe considered.

The apartment is located in the picturesque village of Villes-sur-Auzon, 40 minutes east of Avignon. The village has several restaurants, a small supermarket, grocery store, bakery and several other shops. There is a winery within a 5 minute walk. There is also a communal swimming pool in the village (open July and August), tennis courts and a popular market on Wednesdays. The village is surrounded by vineyards and lavender fields and there is a lake for wild swimming 5 km away.
The nearby Mont Ventoux, is the highest mountain in Provence, with an altitude of 1,910 m and is the scene of one of the most grueling climbs in the Tour de France cycling race. Every year there are amateur races to climb the mountain.
Villes-sur-Auzon is well-located to explore all the sites of Eastern Provence, including
- the hilltop village of Gordes, recently voted the most beautiful village in the World;
- the market town of L'Isle-sur-Sorgue, with its canals, craft shops and weekly market;
- the stunning village of Roussillon, famous for its ochre coloured cliffs and buildings;
- the walled hilltop village of Ménerbes, officially classifed as one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France;
- the stunning city of Avignon, perched on the banks of the Rhône and home to the Palais-des-Papes, the Pont d'Avignon, a large arts festival during the summer and a popular Christmas market in the winter.

Other transport
There is a regular bus service between Villes-sur-Auzon and the nearby town of Carpentras. From Carpentras, there is a train service to Avignon. To the south of Avignon, there is a TGV train station, with quick trains up to Paris, down to Barcelona and across to Nice.
