Uzes has some wonderful shops, art galleries, dozens of bars and restaurants and a fabulous Saturday Market that takes over the whole town. Uzes is very much a gourmet town and it prides itself on its local truffles, olive oil and fresh Provencal herbs.

NIMES: the Roman town of Nimes still has a fully in-tact Roman arena, the World famous Maison Carre and an internationally renowned art museum.
THE PONT DU GARD (8 minutes): A 2,000 year old, Roman-built aqueduct which carried water from Uzes to Nimes across the Gardon river. The Pont du Gard is one of France`s most visited monuments.
