This unfurnished apartment for long term rentals, is located right in the heart of Pezenas, opposite the church. Pezenas is one of the most beautiful towns in the South of France, with a medieval centre containing many beautiful buildings. This town of 8,000 people also provides an excellent range of shops, restaurants and services, with events and festivals taking place throughout the year.
This beautiful apartment provides comfortable accommodation and comes with 3 bedrooms (with fitted wardrobes), 2 bathrooms, a fitted kitchen and a large lounge. Tenants will need to install a, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washing machine to be installed, as well as bedroom and lounge furniture.

The apartment is located on the first floor of a beautiful stone town house, which dates back to the 15th Century and was originally the site of the Knights Templar in Pezenas. You approach the apartment via a curved stone staircase, which has remained unchanged for over 600 years. Inside, the apartment features exposed stone walls, terracotta floors, high ceilings and open roof beams. The apartment comes with gas central heating.
- There is a large open plan living room with high ceiling and stone fireplace. The living room has two full height French windows which allow plenty of light to flood into the apartment and offer great views of the church and the medieval streets.
- The kitchen comes with fitted cupboards, an oven, induction hob and space for a refrigerator and dishwasher.
- Bedroom 1 is a beautiful bedroom with exposed stone walls, solid wooden floor and a stunning curved alcove that is part of the turret of the building.
- The bathroom is next to the bedroom and is fitted with a walk-in shower, WC and wash basin.
- Bedroom 2 is another large bedroom with two tall French windows. This bedroom comes with fitted wardrobes
- Bedroom 3 is a smaller bedroom but still a decent size (approximately 10m2). The bedroom has a cupboard for storage. This bedroom would be suitable as a children's bedroom or as a home office.
- Bathroom 2 comes with a bath, walk-in shower and wash basin. There is a separate WC.
Unfurnished long term rental prices
This apartment can be rented for up to 12 months. The monthly price of €750 is based on a 6 month stay. In addition to the rent, there is a monthly provision of €200 towards the electricity, gas, water, internet and communal charges. Minimum stay is 3 months. A private parking place is available nearby for €20 per week/€50 per month.

Pezenas 3 bed unfurnished apartment France - our opinion
Last visited: February 2025. We have very few unfurnished apartments on our website, so when they do become available they tend to go quickly. But when you add in all the character features and history of this apartment, then it is sure to be snapped up very quickly. Although it is located right in the heart of the medieval centre of Pezenas, the apartment is not located on a narrow side street with restricted light. Instead it is located opposite the church on a wide pedestrian thoroughfare. This allows plenty of light to flood into the apartment. This combined with the high ceilings, makes the apartment feel bright and airy.
One month deposit to be paid at time of reservation. Rent to be paid in advance on the first day of the month. €200 monthly provision towards the utility bills and local taxes.

Area activities
The apartment is located opposite the medieval church in the centre of Pezenas. The building was founded by the Knights Templar and is known locally as Hotel des Templiers. The building is located on rue Chevaliers Saint-Jean, which gives a clue to the origins of the building. In France the Knights Templar operated under the name Ordre de Saint-Jean de Jérusalem and in English (from Latin) the organisation was known as the Order of Knights of the Hospital of Saint John of Jerusalem. The Chevaliers were the elite warrior Knights who belonged to the organisation.
Pezenas is without doubt one of the prettiest towns in the South of France. The town is home to many artists and antiques dealers. There are many festivals and events which take place throughout the year and the Saturday market in the town is one of the largest markets in the area.

There is a TGV train station in Beziers, with a regular bus service to Pezenas.
