The house is full of character and has been tastefully renovated.
Puissalicon is located between the vine-covered hills of Faugeres and the beaches of Beziers. With its hilltop chateau, gothic church & winding lanes, Puissalicon is a quiet and peaceful village; yet it has a surprising mix of local facilities. There is an excellent local wine bar (Picmandil), a well-respected wine cellar (La Domaine Croix Belle) and regular local market stalls selling fresh fruit & veg, shellfish and charcuterie.
The Owner will accept pets through prior agreement (limited to 2 small dogs).
This renovated village house is laid out over 3 floors.
On the ground floor there is storage area in the cave, which also houses the washer/dryer.

The terrace is south-facing and is a great spot for sun-bathing or enjoying an evening meal. On the terrace there is a patio table and large parasol. There is a charcoal BBQ and an outdoor shower to help you cool off.
This 3 bed village house in the pretty village of Puissalicon is available for monthly rentals for between 3 to 12 months. The prices do not include the utility bills (electricity, water and phone/internet). Prices will vary according to season and duration of your stay.

Last visited: Sept 2021. This 3 bed village house in the pretty village of Puissalicon provides very comfortable accommodation for a couple or family for monthly rentals throughout the year. The fabulous terrace is where you will want to spend most of your time, but all the living areas of the house are bright, airy and tastefully furnished. The house is situated in a convenient location, close to the coast, Beziers airport and the local road network.
The rental is for the entire property. Any shared facilities are listed in the property description.
The prices quoted are based on a 6 month rental period. Higher prices may apply to rentals over the summer period and for shorter rentals.
Utility bills and communal taxes are payable in addition to the rent.
The town of Puissalicon is one of the many hilltop villages in the area that are built on a circular road pattern (known as "circulades"). IN the centre of the village you will find the original chateau and Gothic church with Romanesque tower. Just a few steps from the house there is a well-stocked local shop, with a larger Intermarche supermarket just 1 km away. In the village you will find a boutique wine shop, bakery, and weekly market stalls.
Just 20 minutes through vineyards to the east, you will find the historic town of Pezenas, with its artistic community, fine dining, and impressive gothic mansions. Pezenas is blessed with fine architechture from its time as the capital of the Languedoc. It is a hotspot for antiques, and the Saturday market is considered the finest in the Languedoc region, with local produce, cheeses, meats, breads, wines and household goods offering a memorable Saturday experience.
The Orb and Herault river valleys offer great canoeing and the Parc Regional du Haut-Languedoc provides some excellent cycling and hiking trails. The dune-backed beaches of Portiragnes Plage offer sailing and surfing facilities.
There is a TGV train station in Beziers. There are local train services from Beziers to the nearby village of Magalas (2km) - which is a 15 mins walk through the vineyards. There are 5 trains per day.
The nearest airport is located just 20 mins away (Beziers airport 28 km). Other local airports include:

Puissalicon is located close to the D909 main road which runs down from the Black Mountains to Beziers and the coast.
One month deposit to be paid at time of reservation (this will become the security deposit for your stay). Rent to be paid in advance on the first day of the month (for rentals of 3 months or less, the rent is to be paid in full prior to arrival). The utility bills are to be paid in addition to the monthly rent. There is a monthly provision of €200 towards the utility bills. References may be required. Minimum stay is normally 3 months.
