This spacious and light apartment is situated in a private section of an historic house. The house is one of the oldest properties in the village. The apartment is fully self-contained and designed to accommodate 2-3 people comfortably. It has a south facing terraces with panoramic views of the vineyards. The apartment benefits from high ceilings throughout and good-sized rooms and can sleep 2/3 people in comfort.
- The apartment features is a spacious double bedroom containing an antique wardrobe, arm chairs, a dressing table, bedside tables and 2 large windows over-looking the village.
- There are 2 bathrooms, one located next to the bedroom (with bath and shower attachment and wash basin) and the other just off the lounge (which comes with a shower, wash basin and toilet).
- The separate separate living room is 16sqm and is fitted with a double sofa bed, 2 armchairs, antique sideboard, TV with free to air satellite channels and an original 1930's tiled floor.
- French doors open out to reveal a Juliette balcony overlooking the vineyards.
- The bright and airy kitchen is 12sqm and features exposed wooden beams and double French doors opening onto the terrace. The appliances include an electric oven, 4 plate hob, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a bistro-style table and 4 chairs.
Outside: there is a lovely private terrace (15sqm) which is south-facing and enjoys panoramic views over the vineyards and woodland. The terrace comes with a table, 4 chairs, sun umbrella and sun loungers.

The views from the terrace over the vineyards are gorgeous and the village of Nizas is a great place to stay. Pezenas is close-by and the beaches are just a short drive away.

Area activities
The wine-producing village of Nizas is surrounded by vineyards in all directions. The village dates back to the Roman times and it was first referred to in manuscripts dating back to 1050 AD. Nizas is only 5km from the historic town of Pezenas which is famous for it's architecture and antique shops. In Pezenas you will find great food shops, restaurants and a lively market every Saturday. To the south of Nizas are the wide sandy beaches of the Mediterranean (25km), stretching endlessly either side of Cap d'Agde. The picturesque ports of Sete, Meze and Marseillan all have excellent seafood restaurants. To the north are the dramatic hills and gorges of the Languedoc National Park where you can trek, swim and canoe. To the southwest are the bustling towns of Bezier (25km) and Narbonne (50km). Finally towards the North East is Montpellier, the most vibrant and cosmopolitan city in the region. Just a little further on are the fascinating towns of Arles and Nimes.
Nizas itself has a shop which doubles as a post office, grocers and bakers. There are also a couple of wine cellars where you can sample the local wines and buy directly from the producers.
