Carcassonne is 30 mins to the North and the Ski resorts in the Pyrenees are 1 hour to the South.

You enter the property into the main open plan living room (approximately 55m²).
- The kitchen is fitted with a dishwasher, hob, microwave/oven, fridge, freezer, coffeemaker and toaster.
- Next to the kitchen there is a small utility room for the washing machine.
- The dining area can seat up to 6 people.
- The lounge comes with a sofa and two arm chairs.
- To the side and front of the living room there are 2 large arched doors which lead out to the terrace.
- In the hall-way there is a toilet and the stairs that lead to the first floor.
On the first floor you will find the 2 bedrooms. Each bedroom comes with its own en-suite shower room with toilet and wash-bowl.
Outside: There is a barbecue area and a terrace next to the house. The Domaine is surrounded by wonderful countryside and there are splendid views in every direction. There is private parking.

Domaine de La Flotte, is an estate situated on the ´Col de La Flotte´, a wooded hillside where you have a beautiful view of the Pyrenees. This is the definition of rural tranquility. This French rental property is situated just outside the small village of Sonnac-sur-l´Hers, in the Aude department of Languedoc. This is a great location for exploring nearby towns including Mirepoix, Limoux and the medieval fortified town of Carcassonne. Also a superb spot to go skiing at the slopes of Ax les Thermes just an hour away.
In Chalabre, only a 10 minutes drive away, you will find shops, a supermarket, a bank and restaurants. There is a market every Monday morning in Mirepoix (25 minutes drive).
