Maison Lavande is a spacious long term rentals property in South France with a private pool. The property is located on the edge of a quiet wine making village, close to the historic town of Pezenas.
The house comes with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and can sleep 8 guests comfortably. Outside, there is a private garden, a lovely sun terrace and a large roof terrace with views over the local vineyards. There is private parking for several cars.
The Mediterranean beaches are just 25 mins drive. Within the village there is a cafe-bar, shop and wine cellar selling local wines. Further restaurants and shops are located in the neighbouring villages of Roujan and Gabian.
Available for long term rentals between October to April from €1250 per month + bills. Minimum stay is 2 months. Not available May to September.

The accommodation is laid out over 2 floors
Ground floor
- You enter the house through the old wine caves which leads you to a laundry area with washer and dryer.
- Bedroom 3 comes with 2 single beds (which can be converted into a Super-King size bed). The bedroom has views to the garden and pool area and plenty of storage
- Bedroom 4 has a double bed with views to the garden and plenty of storage
- There is a family bathroom with shower, toilet & WC
- A games room/home office is fitted with a sofa bed. This room leads onto the cinema room with a projector
First floor
- The large open-plan living room features 2 large sofas laid out around a log burner. There is a dining table with seating for 8 people. A set of double patio doors leads out onto the large roof terrace with outdoor sofa set, BBQ & patio table.
- Fully equipped kitchen comes with an oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is also a kitchen table and patio doors lead out to an additional terrace.
- The master bedroom comes with a Super-King size bed, fitted wardrobes and access to the roof terrace.
- Bedroom 2 features twin beds and fitted wardrobes. The twin beds can be joined together to form a Super-King size bed. Patio doors lead out from the bedroom onto the roof terrace.
Outside
- The fabulous landscaped garden comes with a large 10m x 5m saltwater swimming pool. Surrounding the pool there is a large sun deck with sun beds and a beautiful old pool house.
- The garden also contains a lawn with a treehouse and further seating and relaxing areas.
- There is parking for 2/3 cars.
- The roof terrace off the living room contains an outdoor eating area with large patio table, a parasol and a gas barbecue. There are lovely views from the terrace.

Maison Lavande is available for monthly rentals between October and April. The prices quoted are based on a 6 month rental period, higher prices may apply to shorter rentals. The prices do not include the utility bills, there is a monthly provision of €300 towards the electricity, water and Internet. Minimum stay is 2 months. Not available during the summer period (May to September).

Last visited June 2022. A lovely big long term rentals property in South France, ideal for a family or a couple with frequent guests. With a private garden, Wi-Fi, Home Cinema, large roof terrace and set in a quiet location surrounded by vineyards, this is the ideal spot for a relaxing few months in the South of France.
This is a great location - ideal for visiting the beach and also touring the local vineyards. Pezenas is just down the road and is widely regarded as one of the prettiest towns in the South of France.

Area activities
Maison Lavande is located in the charming medieval village of Pouzolles in the South of France. Pouzolles is a wine making village with around 1,000 inhabitants in the Languedoc region of France. The village is surrounded by vineyards and is just 30 km from the Mediterranean beaches. Nearby, you will find the beautiful historic town of Pezenas and the bustling city of Beziers, known for its massive summer festival (the Feria).
The village is dominated by the impressive local Chateau and by the church, built at the site of the ramparts. Beyond the village, you can see the Black Mountains of the Haut Languedoc National Park.
Other transport
There is a TGV train station in the nearby towns of Agde and Beziers.

Perfect home base in the south of France.
We had a super enjoyable stay here last year! It's a large comfortable family home with plenty of indoor and outdoor space, and privacy, in the middle of a small village. Surrounded by vineyards and other villages with popular markets, it is an easy drive to the south coast for memorable sea-food restaurants. The perfect base for a get-together of family and friends in the south of France!

Nice villa, serene setting, close to many sights
Nice large villa with a lovely pool area and a beautiful garden full of fruit trees. 2 terraces, one on each side of the house, will let you enjoy the sun or shade both morning and afternoon. There are many sights nearby or within a short drive: villages, towns, cities, seaside and other nature sights and activities. This is a great location to serve as a base to visit this part of France

A Delightful Stay in Pouzolles, France
Our first stay in France was nothing short of enchanting, thanks to the lovely home we found nestled in the quaint town of Pouzolles. As an older couple who deeply appreciate historic charm and the authentic French countryside experience, this home exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the immaculate condition of the house. It was clear that great care had been taken to maintain its pristine state. The hosts were incredibly responsive, informative, and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the start. The home itself was spacious, inviting, and well-appointed. Each room was thoughtfully decorated, blending modern comforts with historic charm. We particularly enjoyed the cozy living area, where we spent many evenings relaxing after exploring the picturesque surroundings. Pouzolles is a gem of a town, offering a true taste of the French countryside. We loved wandering through its charming streets, visiting local markets, and soaking in the serene atmosphere. The location was perfect for day trips to nearby vineyards and historic sites, adding to the richness of our experience. In summary, our stay in this delightful home in Pouzolles was a perfect introduction to the beauty and charm of rural France. Beautiful private house with a great pool
This is a wonderful spacious house with lots of room. A front terrace for morning coffee and a back terrace for dinner or apero. The infinity pool is gorgeous and the garden is nicely landscaped with olive, apricot, cherry and other trees and, of course, as the name implies, lavender The location is wonderful: nestled amongst the vineyards with the village a short walk away and L'arjolle winery a three minute walk. Roujan with a very large supermarket and other facilities is a 5 minute drive and Pezenas, with it's famed farmer's market 15 minutes away A lovely place to enjoy quiet and privacy but with easy access to everything
One month's rent to be paid as a deposit at the time of reservation. This deposit will become your security deposit on the first day of rental. For rentals of 3 months or less, the full rental amount is to be paid before the start of the rental. For rentals in excess of 3 months, the rent is to be paid on the first day of each month. In addition to the rent, there is a monthly provision of €300 to be paid towards the electricity, water and WiFi costs.
Minimum stay is 2 months. Not available in High season (May to September).
