Le Marais is the best preserved historic district in Paris. The district features many beautiful town houses, dating back to the Belle Epoque of the 15th-18th Centuries. Today, Le Marais features many narrow medieval lanes, full of bars, restaurants, hotels, high end fashion boutiques and new hip designers. You will also find many traditional boulangeries, butchers, fish shops, wine shops and jewellers.
The Picasso Museum and the Carreau du Temple are in the immediate vicinity of the apartment and the Pompidou Arts Center and the Place des Vosges are 15 minutes' walk away.
