La Grange du Lac is located in a beautiful part of the world. The popular sites of Sarlat, Cahors, Rocamadour and Monpazier are all within 30 mins drive. There is a medieval village just down the road with a boulangerie, shops, small supermarket and restaurants.
La Grange du Lac is available for long term rentals of 3-6 months between October to March from €1500 per month + bills. The Owners will accept pets through prior agreement (limited to 2 dogs). The grounds are not enclosed and therefore the clients must take responsibility for their dogs.
La Grange du Lac is located on a private estate with 2.5 hectares of land. The Owners live on-site in a connected building, but the barn is totally private and comes with it's own entrance. The barn comes with a wood log burner and electric radiators. The property is laid out over 2 floors.

La Grange du Lac can be rented for 3-6 months between October to March. The property is not available during the summer period. In addition to the rent, there is a monthly provision of €350 towards the electricity, water, firewood and Wi-Fi. Minimum stay is 3 months. Pets maybe accepted through prior agreement. The swimming pool is closed between October to April.

This is a fantastic rural property to rent over the winter in South West France for a couple or small family. Inside the barn is very comfortable and perfectly adapted for remote working. The barn is set within an idyllic location that provides for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The nearby village provides the shops and services that you will need on a daily basis and the larger town of Cahors is just 25 mins by car.
The rental is for the entire property. Any shared facilities are listed in the property description. The prices quoted are based on a 6 month rental period. Utility bills and communal taxes are payable in addition to the rent.
La Grange du Lac is located on the outskirts of Cazals, a medieval village on the border of the Dordogne and Lot regions. The village has a weekly market with a good selection of fresh local products.
A farm shop, an award winning bakery renowned for the quality of its products, as well as a small supermarket are open all year round in the village. There is a also a post office, bank, newsagent, hair dresser and 2 restaurants in the village.
The surrounding area offers a wide range of attractions, many beautiful villages, castles, vineyards, gardens, rivers, caves and excellent hiking trails. The gite is located 30mns from Cahors, 40mins from Sarlat, 1h30m from Toulouse.
There is a high speed rail link from Paris to Bordeaux. From Bordeaux you can take another train to Bergerac (all year round - 1 hour away) or Sarlat (during the summer months - 30 minutes away). The nearest mainline train stations are: Sarlat, Gourdon or Cahors.
There is a local regional train station 20 km away (in the village of Degagnac) with services to Toulouse and Limoges.
The village of Cazals is located on the D673 main road which runs all the way up to Darlat in Dordogne. The A20 motorway (which runs from Toulouse up through central France) can be accessed in 20 mins drive.

One month deposit to be paid at time of reservation (this will become your security deposit during your stay. Rent to be paid in advance prior to the start of the rental period. A monthly provision of €300 is to be paid in addition to the rent, towards the electricity, water, firewood and Wi-Fi. Where pets are accepted, there is a €150 end of stay clean.
