The cottage provides 140m2 of living accommodation, contained on one level. 

• You enter the cottage into the large dining room (38 m²), which comes with exposed beams, stone fireplace with woodburning stove and dual aspect French doors leading to gardens and the courtyard. There is a TV (with some international channels) and Wi-Fi. The dining table can seat 6 people.
• The fully-fitted kitchen has a large range cooker, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, toaster and espresso machine. There is plenty of storage space, as well as a full set of plates, cutlery, glasses and cooking utensils.
• Next to the kitchen there is a utility room which contains the central heating boiler.
• The spacious sitting room (35.26 m²) features the original stone cobbled floor. It has a magnificent stone fireplace with woodburning stove, beamed ceiling and dual aspect French doors leading to the gardens. There are 2 comfortable sofas and a large armchair. There is a flat screen TV with international channels (via the internet) and access to Netflix, as well as a port for installing a Firestick.

A corridor leads off from the sitting room to the 3 bedrooms. The corridor has exposed stone walls and large windows which look out over the courtyard.

• Bedroom 1 is a beautiful bedroom with exposed stone walls and antique furniture. There is a king-size double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets. French windows lead out to the garden. The en suite bathroom comes with a shower, WC and wash basin.
• Bedroom 2 is a large bedroom with a double bed, wardrobe and bedside cabinets. Next to the bedroom there is a bathroom with a shower, wash basin and WC.
• Bedroom 3 is a double bedroom with bedside cabinets and a large wardrobe. French windows lead out to the garden. Next to the bedroom there is a bathroom with a shower, wash basin and WC.

Outside

• La Chartreuse du Sord is approached via a long tree-lined driveway. There is parking for several cars
• There is a beautiful enclosed courtyard entrance at the front of the cottage. This also features a terrace area with patio table and chairs.
• At the rear of the property there is a large open garden, with extensive lawn. There is a flagged terrace area.
• The Owner of the cottage lives in a separate building across the courtyard. The mature trees in the courtyard provide privacy beween the properties.

La Chartreuse du Sord is available for long term rentals of up to 12 months. The minimum stay is 3 months. In addition to the rent, there is a monthly provision of €300 towards the electricity, water, heating and Wi-Fi. Firewood to be purchased separately.

Long term rentals (October to May): €1250 per month + bills
