Last visited January 2022. Located in a peaceful setting just outside Pezenas and 20 mins to the beaches of the Mediterranean, this comfortable cottage for long term rental in Languedoc, provides very affordable accommodation for a single person or couple. Inside the cottage is full of original features and is very spacious. The cottage comes with its own private terrace and has access to 2 swimming pools and the grounds surrounding the priory. An ideal base for house-hunters. Sorry no pets.

Area activities
This cottage for long term rental in South France, is located amongst the vineyards of Languedoc Roussillon. Some of the best wines in the South of France can be found within a short drive - St Chinian, Faugeres, Picpoul de Pinet, Minervois and Fitou. The Languedoc coast is a short drive away with some of the best beaches in the South of France to be found in under 20 minutes. In the village of Tourbes there are 2 excellent excellent restaurants, a local bar, a wine bar, shop and pharmacy.
The nearby town of Pezenas also offers a host of good restaurants, pavement cafes, art galleries, museums, boutiques & a super Saturday market.
There is superb walking available in the Black Mountains, there is also Lac Salagou for wonderful freshwater lake swimming & water sports.
Close by are the cities of Beziers (15mins), Montpellier (50mins), Carcassonne (60mins) and Nimes (90mins). Further afield are Provence, Andorra and Barcelona.

There is a TGV train station in Beziers and Agde, both of which have regular bus services to the nearby town of Pezenas.
