The barns are comfortably furnished and benefit from UK TV, WiFi, a washing machine and plenty of outdoor space. Pets may also be accepted. The barns are situated in the small village of Fajoles, close to the Dordogne river and the beautiful villages of Domme, La Roque-Gageac and Sarlat.

There are two barns available for long term lets. Here we feature the property called Tuksumduin.
The front door of the property leads into the open plan living which contains the lounge, kitchen and dining room. This L-shaped room features the original exposed beams of the barn.
A wide staircase leads up to the first floor landing which provides access to the 4 bedrooms and family bathroom.
Outside:
There is a private garden with a decking area in front of the barn. The garden comes with a BBQ, large patio table and chairs, as well as a garden bench.
There is a large shared garden at the back of the barns, mainly laid to lawn. Each barn has a seating area with table and chairs and parasol. The garden looks out over open fields and agricultural buildings
There is private parking for several cars on the small lane outside the barns. There are working agricultural buildings on the lanes, but traffic is very minimal.
The prices for these long term lets in Dordogne, France, are monthly and are based on 2-4 people. There is a small monthly supplement if the property is occupied by 4-8 people. The monthly prices do not include the utility bills. Linen and towels can be provided, as well as a baby cot and high chair. Minimum rental period is 1 months. Available for rental between October-April, but 12 month rentals maybe considered.

The prices quoted are based on a 6 month rental period. Higher prices may apply to rentals over the summer period and for shorter rentals.
Utility bills and communal taxes are payable in addition to the rent.
One month deposit to be paid at time of reservation (this will become the security deposit for your stay). Rent to be paid in advance on the first day of the month (for rentals of 3 months or less, the rent is to be paid in full prior to arrival). The utility bills are to be paid in addition to the monthly rent. There is a monthly provision of €250 towards the utility bills. References may be required. Minimum stay is normally 3 months. Pets accepted at an additional fee (through prior agreement of the Owner, please enquire).
Located on the border of the Dordogne and Lot regions, the local landscape is dominated by the Dordogne valley which cuts through the undulating hills of the local landscape. The area features ancient forests, limestone cliffs, beautiful Chateaux and stunning villages such as Domme, La Roque-Gageac and Sarlat.
The local area is a haven for food & wine lovers. The regional wines of Bordeaux, Cahors and Bergerac are well-known outside of France, but you also need to discover the wines of Monbazillic and Pécharment. The region provides many culinary treats including wild mushrooms, truffles, walnuts, as well as fois gras, cheese and various duck dishes. With many local markets to choose from, you can find some excellent fresh local ingredients to bring home and cook up.
There is a range of local activities to undertake, including a superb 18 hole golf-course within a short drive; some beautiful local walking routes (including the famous GR 46 route); as well as plenty of local bike hire services where you can enjoy the excellent cycling routes in the area.
