This beautiful cottage is located in an idyllic part of France with beautiful open countryside, slow running rivers and streams and quaint villages. The nearby towns of Civray and Charroux provide the local shops, supermarkets, restaurants and services that you will need on a day-to-day basis and the cities of Poitiers and Limoges provide all the big town services you will require. Both are 1 hour drive.
There is an adjoining cottage next to Le Poirier with a separate terrace and entrance. The friendly Owners live on-site in a separate building.
The rental is for the entire property. Any shared facilities are listed in the property description.
The prices quoted are based on a 6 month rental period. Higher prices may apply to rentals over the summer period and for shorter rentals. Utility bills and communal taxes are payable in addition to the rent.

The Vienne department is characteristically French, with numerous Chateaux, rolling hills, historic villages and meandering rivers. Nearby you will find a host of restaurants, weekly markets and French antique markets (brocantes).Discover the Benedictine Abbey in Charroux, founded in 785 by Roger, Count of Limoges.
If you’re feeling energetic there are miles of walking and cycle paths right from your door. If you’re feeling really energetic, you could try kayaking down the Vienne river or go crazy and try a bungy jump from the viaduct at l’Isle Jourdain.
The nearby town of Limoges is a very pretty place, with a lovely historical centre, a stunning medieval Cathedral and a beautiful art-deco train station (often regarded as the most beautiful train station in France).
The Futuroscope theme park is about 25km away, close to the city of Poitiers.
There are TGV train stations in the nearby towns of Niort, Poitiers and Limoges (all 1 hour drive). Local train services run from the village of Saint-Saviol, up to Poitiers.
Poitiers airport is approximately 50 minutes drive to the North. It has regular flights from the UK via Ryanair.
Limoges airport is just over 1 hour drive away to the South-East. There are flights to the following airports:
