Lot farmhouse for long term rentals France - facilities 

The house is located in a very rural location, with fields on 3 sides. Inside, the farmhouse contains many period features such as original oak beams, exposed stone walls and original fireplaces. The farmhouse has also been updated with modern appliances and fittings.

Living rooms

• The large lounge has a wood-burning stove in a feature traditional fireplace.
• The lounge contains an old bar, a piano and a solid wooden floor. There is a leather sofa and a number of antique armchairs.
• The dining room contains a large round table, which can easily accommodate 10 guests.
• There is a small snug in the  dining room which has 2 comfy armchairs in front of a second wood-burning stove.
• There is a fully contained studio space (unfurnished) which can be used as a home office, storage space, gym or workshop.

Kitchen

In a beautiful contrast to the old character of the lounge, the farmhouse contains a sleek modern kitchen, with period touches such as the old tomette floor tiles used as a design feature on the walls.

• The kitchen is fully-fitted with 2 electric ovens, a 5-ring gas stove, large fridge, cafetière, toaster, dishwasher, and microwave. There are plenty of cooking utensils, plates and cutlery.
• There is a view through from the kitchen to the dining room.
• Next to the kitchen there is a utility room which includes a washing machine, tumble dryer, and drying area.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms

The farmhouse has 5 bedrooms. Four of the bedrooms contain double beds, the 5th bedroom is a triple room with 3 single beds.

• Bedroom 1 - is located on the ground floor and comes with a double bed and en-suite bathroom
• Bedroom 2 - is on the first floor there is a super King-size bedroom with en-suite shower and bath.
• Bedroom 3 - also on the first floor there is a second double bedroom with small en-suite bathroom.
• Bedroom 4 - is located on the top floor and comes with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom (containing a small corner sit-up bath and basin)
• Bedroom 5 - is a large space which is useful for occasional guests or as a children's bedroom. It comes with 2 single beds plus a divan (which can serve as a double bed or 2 singles). This bedroom has a small en-suite shower room.

Outside

• In the garden there is a dining area under an ancient walnut tree, a ping-pong table, barbecue, and pool.
• The heated outdoor pool is open from May to September only. It is protected by an electric cover. There is no fence around the pool. Please note that children must be closely supervised at all times near the pool.

Long term rentals Lot France - prices

The farmhouse is available for long term rentals between October to May. Included within the rent is a weekly visit from the Property Manager to provide cleaning and gardening services. The rental prices do not include the utility bills and firewood (there is a monthly provision of €275 towards the electricity, water, WiFi and communal taxes). 

There is oil-fired central heating, several freestanding electric radiators, and the studio / office has an air source heat pump for heating or cooling.
