Dordogne farmhouse for rent France - facilities

The farmhouse comes with 6 bedrooms and four en-suite bathrooms. The farmhouse can accommodate up to ten adults, 5 children plus infants. The farmhouse is laid out over 2 floors and comes with exposed beams and stone walls.

Living room

• The huge living room has an oak beamed ceiling, traditional stone walls and tiled floors. There is sitting room area organised around the wood burning stove with large, luxurious sofas. There is also a TV snug with leather sofas and a 50" plasma TV with Freesat TV and satellite sports package. This area has a choice of hundreds of DVDs of all genres and also surround sound.
• The living room is open plan with the kitchen and dining area.
• There is also a games area with a Pool Table, which can also be converted for Snooker.

Kitchen and dining

• The fully fitted oak kitchen is fully stocked, including a large, dual fuel SMEG stove. Wine buffs will love the two wine fridges.
• The large dining table has chairs for 12. The large Welsh Dresser displays the selection of wine decanters and coolers.
• There are three sets of oak French doors leading from the kitchen/dining area. One set opens onto a pretty breakfast terrace which catches the early morning sun. The other two sets open onto the main terrace, part of which is covered. This area has super views over the two acre enclosed garden.

Bedrooms & bathrooms

• Bedroom 1 is located on the ground floor and has a four poster bed with memory foam mattress, flat screen TV, Day-bed and an en suite shower room. French doors lead from the bedroom to a private terrace with table and chairs and hammocks. 
• Bedroom 2 is also on the ground floor and has a Sleigh bed and sofa. There is an en suite shower room. French doors lead from this bedroom to a private terrace with Chess set, table and chairs and a double sofa bed. 
• Bedroom 3 is a double bedroom located on the first floor. Aside from the double bed, there is also a sofa which can convert to a single bed.
• Bedroom 4 is a twin bedroom, just down the hallway from bedroom 3. The two bedrooms share a bathroom.
• Bedrooms 5 and 6 are located next to each other on the first floor. The suite consists of a double bedroom and a single bedroom which also has room for a cot. Both bedrooms share a bathroom.

Outside

• There is a 11m x 5m heated swimming pool with a retractable cover, enabling swimming from Easter to the middle of November, with a guaranteed minimum temperature of 24 °C.
• There is a large Driveway with parking for lots of cars. The large bike shed is located here.
• There is a 2 acre fully enclosed Garden, a wonderful space for all activities with football goals, super size trampoline, children's play area, Wendy Houses and toddler slide. There is a large grassed area, a woodland area and cypress trees at the far end. A huge willow tree offers a cool haven on hot days. The garden is bordered on one side by fields and on the other by a little lane.

The farmhouse can be rented during the period September to May. In addition to the rent, there is a monthly provision of €350 towards the electricity, water, Wi-Fi, firewood and local taxes. The minimum stay is 2 months and higher rates will apply to rentals during September and May.
