The property is very handy for the airport at Limoges (20 mins drive) and Limoges train station, with services direct to Paris.

Chateau de Corrige dates back to 1534 and it is located within its own grounds on a hillside overlooking the rolling countryside of the Limousin. The apartment occupies two floors at the eastern end of the chateau and has its own private entrance.
On the ground floor there is a spacious open-plan living room with firepace and exposed beams.
On the first floor, you will find two tastefully decorate bedrooms.
The apartment is heated by gas central heating.
Outside: there are spacious grounds surrounding the Chateau, mainly laid to lawn with well-kept flower beds. There is ample parking.

This is a beautiful location for a long term rental in France. This comfortable 2 bedroom property is located in the east wing of the stunning Chateau de Corrige. The property is ideal for a couple or a small family for an extended winter holiday or house-hunting trip.

The prices quoted are based on a 6 month rental period. Higher prices may apply to rentals over the summer period and for shorter rentals.
Utility bills and communal taxes are payable in addition to the rent.
One month´s deposit to be paid at time of reservation. Rent to be paid in advance at the start of each month. Electricity and water are included in the rental price (although a supplement will apply for excessive/abnormal use). Customers are required to pay for a firewood delivery (which the Owner can arrange on your behalf) and also to refill the gas central heating tank at the end of the stay (based on consumed units of fuel). The Owner has a cat which has adopted the Chateau as her home. It doesn´t enter the apartment and sleeps in the laundry room. But the Owner will require guests to feed the cat.
Minimum stay is 3 months.
The village of Chamboret is located in the Haute-Vienne department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region in central-western France. The department neighbours with the Dordogne and the beautiful Parc National de Perigord-Limousin straddles the border between the two departments. The village has around 800 inhabitants and features a bar-restaurant and a very well-respected restaurant (Auberge La Lande de Taillac).
There are supermarkets in the neighbouring villages of Nantiat (4km) and Bellac (12km). Bellac also features a weekly market with fresh local produce.
The nearby town of Limoges is a very pretty place, with a lovely historical centre, a stunning medieval Cathedral and a beautiful art-deco train station (often regarded as the most beautiful train station in France).
There is a train station in Limoges (15 mins drive), with services to Paris and also to Bordeaux. There is also a local train station at the nearby village of Nantiat, with services to Poitiers and Limoges.
There is a local bus service between Chamboret and Limoges.
The local airport at Limoges is just 20 mins drive away. There are flights to the following airports:
