The farmhouse is located in the heart of Aude department in the South France. The property is located near the village of Soulatgé and is situated close to the famous Cathar castle of Chateau Peyrepertuse. Perpignan airport is 1 hour drive. The farmhouse is set among the mountains, with breathtaking views over the Hautes Corbières countryside in Southern France. This 3 bedroom property in rural France is available for long term lets from 3 to 12 months for €750 per month + bills.

The farmhouse is a south-facing stone-built house providing 150 m2 of living space on three levels. Facing south, its windows overlook the mountains beyond.
Ground floor
- There is a large kitchen equipped with a coffee maker, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, a four burner gas stove and an oven. There is a dining table with seating for 8 people.
- The kitchen overlooks a large living room with open fireplace, WiFi, TV with TNT channels and DVD player. The living room comes with a large sofa, armchairs and a dining table
First floor
There are 3 bedrooms on the first floor, as well as a bathroom
- Bedroom 1 is fitted with a double bed
- Bedroom 2 contains 3 single beds
- Bedroom 3 contains 2 single beds
- The bathroom contains a bath with overhead shower and wash basin. There is a separate toilet on this floor.
There is additional accommodation on the second floor of the farmhouse. This contains 2 additional bedrooms (sleeps 4) and it has an independent access.
Outside: A large table and chairs are set outside for meals or for you to bask in the sun. Surrounding the farmhouse is a working farm with sheep, goats and donkeys. The farm still produces goats cheese

The farmhouse is 1 hour from Perpignan or Limoux.
For hikers: a footpath connects the GR36 and the Cathar trail in less than 10 minutes from the farmhouse.

Driving directions
The farmhouse can be accessed via the D14 road between Soulatgé and Rouffiac.
On the D14, there is a roadside sign for La Gigude. Take this track road and the farm is 5 minutes uphill. Keep following the signs!

One month´s deposit to be paid at time of reservation. The deposit rolls over to become the security deposit during your stay. For rentals in excess of 3 months, the rent can be paid on the first day of each month. For rentals less than 3 months, the full rental price needs to be paid prior to arrival. There is a €150 monthly provision towards the bills, paid in addition to the rent.
Please note that due to the remote location, the internet speed is slow. The Owner will investigate the possibility of installing a 4G WiFi box to improve the internet speed.
