The farmhouse is totally private, with no near neighbours. But 10 mins away there is the small town of Boulogne-sur-Gesse, which provides a range of services, supermarkets, schools and shops. The city of Toulouse is just 70km away and nearby you will find the large towns of Tarbes, Pau and the famous pilgrimmage site of Lourdes.

This stunning farmhouse for long term rentals in Gascony, France, provides very comfortable accommodation in this lovely corner of France. The farmhouse is very well-equipped, with everything you will need for a long stay in France. The deck and pool area provide stunning views of the Pyrenees mountains to the south. The nearby town of Boulogne-sur-Gesse provides a range of services and shops.
The rental is for the entire property. The prices quoted are based on a 6 month rental period (October to May). Higher prices may apply to rentals over the summer period and for shorter rentals. Utility bills and communal taxes are payable in addition to the rent.
Boulogne-sur-Gesse is located in the Haute-Garonne department in South-West France, 70kms from Toulouse. The town was founded in 1286 and today has a population of around 1,600 people and provides a good range of local services including 2 supermarkets, a primary & secondary school, 2 butchers, 4 boulangeries, 5-6 restaurants, hairdressers, a medical centre and a vetinary clininc. A weekly market is held in the town every Wednesday. During the summer there are a range of festivals and there is also a small water park located on the banks of a small lake where you can hire pedalos and use the swiming pools and water slides.
This area of France is commonly referred to as Gascony - an area renowned for gentle rolling hills, warm sunshine and amazing gastronomy. This is a rural corner of France, which provides a slower pace of life, away from the stresses and strains of modern city living. Gascony is famous for its Armagnac brandy, rich duck dishes, charcuterie, foie gras paté and cèpe mushrooms.
You'll have the chance to discover some wonderful landscapes on foot, by bike or on horseback, including the Lac de la Gimone, the Save valley, the Archaeological Site of Montmaurin and the Cave of Aurignac, a prehistoric cave containing the remains of the early first human settlers in Europere.
There is a TGV train station at the town of Saint-Gaudens (35 mins), which has fast train services to Toulouse and connections to Paris.
Toulouse international airport is 1 hour away. Alternatively, Tarbes-Lourdes airport is a 1 hour drive.
Boulogne-sur-Gesse is located 1 hour south-west of Toulouse. The town is 25 mins north of the A64 motorway, which runs in between Toulouse and Biarritz/Bayonne. The town is located on the D632 main road, which provides quick access to Toulouse (1 hour).
1 month deposit to be paid at time of reservation. Rent to be paid in advance at the start of each month. Utility bills (electric, water, Wi-Fi and heating fuel) to be paid in addition to the monthly rent (€350 monthly provision). Firewood to be purchased separately. Pets maybe considered through prior arrangement. Minimum stay is 3 months.
