Le Patio is a 4 bed house for long term rentals in the winemaking village of Valros, South France. The property comes with a lovely courtyard, spacious living room and 4 bathrooms.
The beautiful market town of Pezenas is just down the road and you are close to the Mediterranean beaches and the cosmopolitan cities of Beziers and Montpellier.

The property is laid out over 3 floors. It comes with central heating and double glazing.
Ground floor
- There is a communal entrance (also used by the first floor apartment).
- There is a games room with dart board and a pool table.
- The spacious living room contains a TV, sofa, easy chairs and a dining table and chairs. A set of French windows lead out onto the patio.
- The fully-fitted kitchen comes with everything that you need, including an oven, hob, dishwasher, large American fridge-freezer, microwave, washing machine & dryer, kettle, toaster and coffee machine.
First floor
There is a private apartment. The aparment uses the communal entrance and staircase.
Second floor
On the second floor there are 4 bedrooms, 3 of which come with en-suite bathrooms.
- The master bedroom offers a very generous space of 30 square meters and overlooks the courtyard. The room features a four-poster bed (140cm/200cm) and a sofa for +1 person (adult or child). The room is equipped with a Smart TV with full access to online services, connection to personal devices and to standard French channels.The en suite bathroom comes with two wash-hand basins, separate shower and bathtub. There is a separate toilet.
- Bedroom 2 is fitted with a Queen-size bed (160cm ×200cm) and has an en suite bathroom with shower cubicle, wash basin and WC.
- Bedroom 3 also has a Queen-size bed (160cm ×200cm), TV and armchair. The en suite bathroom contains a shower, WC and wash basin. This bedroom can easily be transformed into a home office or a second living room.
- Bedroom 4 comes with a King size double bed (180cm x 200cm), which can also be separated to form 2 single beds (90cm ×200cm).
- There is a separate bathroom on this floor, which comes with a shower, wash basin and a WC.
Outside
The large private patio is a great space to spend time in. There is a patio table and chairs, outdoor sofa set and a Jacuzzi.

Le Patio can be rented for 3 to 12 months. The minimum stay is 3 months. The prices quoted are based on a 6 month rental period. Please note higher prices may apply to shorter rental periods, especially during the summer. In addition to the rent, there is a monthly provision of €250 towards the electricity, heating, water, Wi-Fi and local taxes.

Le Patio house for rent South France - Our opinion
Le Patio is a great rental option if you are looking to search for some winter sun in the South of France. This property will ideally suit house-hunters or people who work remotely.
The house does have a communal entrance also used by a separate apartment on the first floor. Tenants of the house have full private access to the kitchen, living room, games room and patio on the ground floor and the bedrooms/bathrooms on the second floor.

Area activities
Le Patio de Valros is set in a former wine producer’s house in the village of Valros in the wine-producing region of Languedoc Roussillon.
Valros is surrounded by vineyards and there are many excellent local walks. The large town of Beziers is 15 mins drive and the cosmopolitan city of Montpellier is 45 mins.
The Mediterranean coast is just 20 mins, with many excellent beaches close-by.
There are 2 good restaurants in the village of Valros (both walking distance). The village also has a shop, boulangerie and a couple of local wine producers (where you can buy the wines directly).
The historic town of Pezenas is just 3.5kms away and it is a popular destination for visitors all year around. The Saturday market is fabulous and a must for anyone who loves Mediterranean food. The beautiful historic quarter is a joy to walk around, with many boutiques and craft shops.

There is a TGV train station in Beziers. There is a frequent bus service between Beziers and Valros.
