The property is available for monthly rentals between October to April. The prices quoted are based on a 6 month rental period (higher rates may apply to shorter stays). In addition to the rent, there is a monthly provision of €250 towards the electricity, water and Wi-Fi. The minimum stay is 3 months. Please note that the garden is only partially fenced, so may not be suitable for pets who are prone to wander off.

There are some excellent walking trails nearby and would ideally suit a couple who enjoy being surrounded by nature. Although sometimes you may feel cut off from the world, the town of St Martin de Londres is just 5 mins down the road (and this has a everything you will need for day to day living) and the city of Montpellier is just 25 mons away. The well-respected Pic St Loup wine appellation, produces some of the finest red wines in Southern France.

The house is located in a small hamlet, located 5 mins from the town of St Martin de Londres. The local countryside is called garrigue, which refers to a wild rocky landscape with aromatic shrubs and trees. St Martin de Londres is a small town of around 3,000 inhabitants. The town serves as an administrative and commercial hub for the surrounding Grand Pic St Loup rural community. As a result, the town has a good range of local services including a supermarket, DIY store, 3-4 restaurants, a pharmacy, medical centre, several wine shops and a large weekly market, held every Sunday morning.
The town of St Martin de Londres dates back to the 11th century and the beautiful church in the centre of the town was built at the beginning of the century by the monks from the near-by abbey of Saint-Guilhem-du-Désert, on one of the pilgrimmage routes to Santiago de Compostela.

Montpellier: this very lively university town, is the dynamic heart of Languedoc. The historical centre of the city is pedestrianised and contains many 17th Century mansions, narrow paved streets, boutiques, and squares around the "Place de la Comedie". Sommieres: is an exceptionally picturesque medieval South France town, which offers plenty of sightseeing and activities, both locally and in it`s surrounding areas. One of Sommieres`s key features is it`s Roman bridge, built by the emperor Tiberus in the First century AD. Above the town stands a castle, built in the 10 century. A wide range of festivities take place in Sommieres, including the Medieval fair in April, and the Town`s Saint`s fair in the summer. You should also visit Sommieres` Saturday market, which served as the set during the filming of the French film "Manon des Sources".
Anduze: this famous pottery town which produced world renowned glazed vases is a picturesque place. Also close-by is the celebrated Bambouseraie bamboo gardens. Also from Anduze you can take a Steam train through the Cevennes and enjoy the outstanding views.
There are regular bus services from Saint Martin de Londres to Montpellier. There is a TGV train station in Montpellier.
There is a school bus from the hamlet to St-Martin-de-Londres, which leaves in the morning and returns in the evening (school meals are provided at the primary school and college).
