The modern house comes with 3 bedrooms, a large sunny living room, covered deck and large garden. There is parking for several cars and space for a motorhome. The property is located in an area of stunning natural beauty and is surrounded by the vineyards of the Pic St Loup wine appellation - which produces some of the best wines in the Southern France.

The house is laid out all on one level and comprises around 100m2 of living space. The house benefits from excellent insulation and large windows which allow plenty of light and passive solar heating to enter the house.
- The open plan living room has a large comfortable L-shaped sofa, wood burner, dining table and fibre internet. There are wonderful views through the large windows.
- The kitchen is equipped with oven, hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and coffee machine. The kitchen comes with an island with seating.
- Next to the entrance there is a small laundry room with washing machine.
- The master bedroom is fitted with a double bed and fitted wardrobes.
- Bedroom 2 is a double bedroom with fitted wardrobes.
- Bedroom 3 is a double bedroom with fitted wardrobes.
- There is a family bathroom with a shower cubicle, wash basin and heated towel rail.
- There is a separate WC next to the bathroom.
Outside
- The house comes with over 200m2 of land, mainly comprising trees, boulders and terrace areas.
- There is a covered deck with a patio table and chairs. The deck gets sunshine for most of the day. Care must be taken with small children, as there is a drop of 1 meter from the deck.
- There is an elevated walkway down to the swimming pool (8m x 4m). The pool is usually open from mid-May to September).
- There is parking for several cars or a car and one motorhome.

The property is available for monthly rentals between October to April. The prices quoted are based on a 6 month rental period (higher rates may apply to shorter stays). In addition to the rent, there is a monthly provision of €250 towards the electricity, water and Wi-Fi. The minimum stay is 3 months. Please note that the garden is only partially fenced, so may not be suitable for pets who are prone to wander off.

Last visited: November 2024. This wonderful long term rental property in France is situated in a picturesque part of the Languedoc region and provides plenty of peace and quite. There are some excellent walking trails nearby and would ideally suit a couple who enjoy being surrounded by nature. Although sometimes you may feel cut off from the world, the town of St Martin de Londres is just 5 mins down the road (and this has a everything you will need for day to day living) and the city of Montpellier is just 25 mons away. The well-respected Pic St Loup wine appellation, produces some of the finest red wines in Southern France.

The house is located in a small hamlet, located 5 mins from the town of St Martin de Londres. The local countryside is called garrigue, which refers to a wild rocky landscape with aromatic shrubs and trees. St Martin de Londres is a small town of around 3,000 inhabitants. The town serves as an administrative and commercial hub for the surrounding Grand Pic St Loup rural community. As a result, the town has a good range of local services including a supermarket, DIY store, 3-4 restaurants, a pharmacy, medical centre, several wine shops and a large weekly market, held every Sunday morning.
The town of St Martin de Londres dates back to the 11th century and the beautiful church in the centre of the town was built at the beginning of the century by the monks from the near-by abbey of Saint-Guilhem-du-Désert, on one of the pilgrimmage routes to Santiago de Compostela.

Pic St Loup: is an arrow-shaped mountain which is visible throughout much of the Herault department. The mountain is 658m in altitude and is a popular destination for hikers. The panoramic views from the summit take in the whole coastal plain of the Mediterranean. The mountain gives its name to the local Pic St Loup vineyards.
Montpellier: this very lively university town, is the dynamic heart of Languedoc. The historical centre of the city is pedestrianised and contains many 17th Century mansions, narrow paved streets, boutiques, and squares around the "Place de la Comedie". The nearby beaches on the Languedoc coast are just 35 mins from Corconne
Aigues-Mortes: the remparts of this medieval town are surrounded by the salt lakes of the Camargue, home to thousends of pink flamingos. This charming little town is well worth the visit
Cevennes National park: just a short journey from the Domain de Monteils, you will find this paradise for the walkers with its chestnut groves its valleys and sources, proposes idyllic walking itineraries.
Camargue: with its legendary wild white horses, large black bulls, beautiful pink flamingos and rare birds, the Camargue is a paradise of nature, flora and fauna.
Sommieres: is an exceptionally picturesque medieval South France town, which offers plenty of sightseeing and activities, both locally and in it`s surrounding areas. One of Sommieres`s key features is it`s Roman bridge, built by the emperor Tiberus in the First century AD. Above the town stands a castle, built in the 10 century. A wide range of festivities take place in Sommieres, including the Medieval fair in April, and the Town`s Saint`s fair in the summer. You should also visit Sommieres` Saturday market, which served as the set during the filming of the French film "Manon des Sources".
Anduze: this famous pottery town which produced world renowned glazed vases is a picturesque place. Also close-by is the celebrated Bambouseraie bamboo gardens. Also from Anduze you can take a Steam train through the Cevennes and enjoy the outstanding views.

There are regular bus services from Saint Martin de Londres to Montpellier. There is a TGV train station in Montpellier.
There is a school bus from the hamlet to St-Martin-de-Londres, which leaves in the morning and returns in the evening (school meals are provided at the primary school and college).

Very cozy
A wooden house in the middle of birds with a very quiet environment. Very cozy interior where it is good to settle in, very good bedding, perfect kitchen equipment. For the exterior, a terrace and very pleasant little places to enjoy a peaceful place. The town of Saint Martin de Londres is really pleasant to live in and you can find everything you need.

Very pleasant house
Very pleasant house to live in, the garden and the living room are magnificent. Near the pretty village of St Martin de Londres. Lots of hiking to do in the area.
One month deposit to be paid at time of reservation (this will become the security deposit for your stay). Rent to be paid in advance on the first day of the month (for rentals of 3 months or less, the rent is to be paid in full prior to arrival). The utility bills are to be paid in addition to the monthly rent. There is a monthly provision of €250 towards the utility bills. References may be required. Minimum stay is normally 3 months.
